John Stemper has joined MDI as Director of Product Development and New Ventures. His primary responsibilities are to strategically identify, assess, and pursue, products or services to enhance MDI’s revenue generation and employment opportunities. This position will work closely with all departments and in particular sales, manufacturing, finance and MDI’s senior leadership in the formulation of the strategic and tactical elements of bringing new products or services to market.
Stemper is an accomplished business leader who demonstrated strategic marketing and client development expertise at The Lawlor Group, William Mitchell College of Law, The Malt-O-Meal Company, and General Mills. He holds an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a BS in business administration from Marquette University. Stemper serves on the board of United Way of 1,000 Lakes and is a former board member at Benilde-St. Margaret School.
